Many thanks for all the replies to my question. I now think I know what sort of mesh would be best. Does anybody have any tips, or where might I find a plan to build a run with door. My diy skills are non existant!!!!!

One option is to find somewhere that doors are being replaced and scrounge an old one. Try to get one that isn't too heavy!
