    *If using battery you should buy one listed as a leisure battery.The higher the amp/hour rating,the longer it will last between charges.you will also need a good charger.The cheap ones from Halfords etc.are rubbish and will cost you more in batteries in the long run.

    **You can have the energiser a long way from the fence eg.locked up in a shed.

    P.S. With a electric pen you won't need to shut your Hens in at night.I've had mine for 2 years in a Fox-rich area and had no problem.They go in and out as they please.

      whispers very quietly............. happy birthday, 12th's a good day, same as mine, well except its in December

      Don't step over the fence to get in in a hurry, you don't notice it was on until you step out................ it hurts
