Sorry to hear that Minsky. I know how you can get attached to them. Hybrids don't live as long as pure breeds. Many pure breeds easily do 10 years - even a few hybrids can live that long but it's usually 5/6 years. Sounds like they had a difficult life before they came to you.
Sad news though.
