        Well, working on the assumption that a 3ftx3ft coop is big enough for around 6 hens, then a 6x6 one is twice the size and is big enough for 12, right? Wrong, it is of course 4 times the size. No wonder I failed O level maths twice before finally scraping a C.

          Well can someone explain the maths and how I originally only decided on 3-4 chooks and ended up with 33
