    Leave them alone. Mum will look after any that hatch. When they do then get some chick crumb, and when you give mum food then give crumb as well (mum will eat it too so you may have to give quite a bit) and mum will show the chicks how to eat it. And put down water in a shallow dish full of pebbles so that little beaks can get in for a drink, but not fall in and drown. Or those glass beads you get to put in flower vases work well too, Morrisons sell small bags.
    Other than that just sit back and enjoy.

      ooo, I can't wait for all this to happen here! I have 10 eggs under 3 birds (3 under two birds who are sharing the brooding)..due to hatch on the 31st August...
