a few pics, they just seem to eat and poo all day.
i'm amazed how tame they are already, they are also doing a grand job of munching all the slugs i can find (several hundred over the last couple of days).
Yes, we found that one out too soon enough......eat, poo, more eating and definately lots of pooing! Just wait til you let them out free-range, them it's eat grass, destroy borders, poo, eat grass, destroy borders and poo!
As for tame, well......they do look keen when they see us and will run up to patio door....same with when you venture out to patio. They come up to see you to see if you have treats, but if you approach them to stroke them they run off - especially Bokky - our white one. At least Korma hunches her shoulders and squats down, you can give her a couple of strokes before she waddles off or occasionally you can pick her up for a cuddle. Bokky just runs off.
Looks good...I'd hang that feeder though. It's best if it's at crop height...I've found.
Our feeder hangs under the coop - which is about 18" off the ground. Even if they stood on their head they couldn't poo in it! Hanging it under a bit of shelter stops the food getting wet and going off too.
