Very smart Snadger, we'll be able to start a homemade chook house gallery soon, what with Lynda's Ty Bach and your Octagonery. Anyone else feeling artistic? I took the easy way out and installed the chooks in a corner of my shed.
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

The Octagon looks great to me Snadger - and yes, the weather vane would be great.

You need some posh birds to fill that - no more ex-batts!
            Good stuff

That's an impressive house, I love it. And even if you had bought the doors it would probably have worked out loads cheaper than one of those trendy coops of an equivalent size. Definitely needs a weather vane though.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Get a little cat weather vane and it could be your Octopussy. Sorry.

Looks fantastic, just shows you what a little imagination and some hard graft can do. Good work dude.

                    Clever man!!!- I'm impressed!

The chooks will love sunbathing and looking out of those windows.

The storage area beneath is a good idea too!

Hmmm- and the growing area you're constructing looks rather impressive!- keep posting piccies of that work in progress will you????
