Broody hen /duck eggs.

HELP,i've dropped one of the duck eggs while moving the hen off them,it has dented the pointed end but not broke the membrane inside,does anybody know if it will hatch?

Probably worth waiting to see. Over half-way now. Not especially hopeful, but you never know until you try. Unless it starts smelling nasty, it can't harm the rest to leave it with her.

Hi,shells starting to crack and can hear chicks inside.
Do you feed chick crumbs to ducklings?,also how do you post a photo on your thread?,cheers kev.

OoooH How exciting!!!I don't know about what to feed them,Sorry!But to post a fluffy pic you need to click on the "Go advanced" box under thenormal reply box....once that comes up you need to scroll down and click on "manage attatchments".A new box will appear,allowing you to "browse" through pics on your computer...find the fluffy duck pics,click to upload...make a coffee(sometimes takes a while!),close that box & press reply or post(can't remember what it says).
The big thing I was caught out by is that you don't actually see the pic until you've posted it....I thought I couldn't do it for ages because of this!

Feeding - I seem to remember that you shouldn't give waterfowl the medicated stuff that you get for chicks. I think there are special feeds for waterfowl. Best hotfoot down to you feed merchants as soon as possible!
