So does that mean that a bit of an accidental back~up plan would be totally inexcusable??!
Just,we went to a breeder this morning to get a couple of Legbars(I've had my heart set on some for ages!) to pop under her with the hope that if the others didn't hatch then there was a chance they would....but somehow we left with 6!!!
and the ever so kind lady also gave us 6 Brahama(sc)bantam eggs....how could we possibly refuse?so we now have an incubator heating up in wait for the extras...thankyou Matthew!)

BTW...Marigold is doing great!She popped outside for a few minutes,giving me a chance to move her box down & sneak a couple of extra eggs in!...then straight back on,snuggling them all under her...she looks so content when she's on them.

Needless to say I didn't get a lot of digging done today!Although I pretty much left her alone,I couldn't resist having the odd peek...doesn't help that she's my fave girl anyway,so looks beautiful even when she's not broody!
Was just horrible yesterday seeing her so agitated in the new coop/run...wish I'd gone with sectioning the back of their coop inthe first place!
She was really agitated again today when she went out with the others,although I don't like the thought of denying her fresh air &sunshine,I think I may let her stay inside tomorrow...she's got more than enough room & I'll pop some corn in the straw for her to have a little scratch.
I'd take a pic of how gorgeous she looks,but not sure if the flash might give her a little fright.
