Thanks redthorn good to know; Daisy is def the "Queen" of the bunch she loves the attention when she lets the others preen all over her lol. Black Betty seems to let everyone xcept Daisy know that she "got her eye on them" and gives them a quick peck to keep them in check it seems lol. Isabella seems the youngest of the group and just gets on with it. And "Thomas" seems to be very cuddly with Black Betty and hangs around her.

Thanks everyone Isabella, my OH brown and white Amber, def seems to have sniffles as I looked at her nostrils today and they seem to have a yellowy/orangy crust or goo around one side. None of the others have this so maybe thats whats giving her the sniffles? Anyway to get rid of it or does nature take its course?

Thanks for thinking theyre pretty too

I haven't heard of chooks getting hayfever (or a similar allergy) but I would have thought it possible. If there are no other symptoms, you could try something like Olbas oil or Vicks.
            You will need
A container big enough for the chook to feel comfy in for a short while (a cat-carrier is OK, if it has a wire side/front)
            a pot of hot water
A blanket/towel to cover the whole thing

Put the chook in the container
Add the Olbas oil, Vicks, Karvol capsule or whatever to the hot water
Place the pot just outside the wire side of the container, as close as you can get it while still being out of reach of the chook.
Drape the blanket over so that the smell in the steam has to go chookwards.
Leave for 10 mins or up to half-an-hour, depending how hot the water, and how willing the chook is to stay there without getting bothered.
Can be repeated twice a day for a few days, but if it is going to work, it should show improvement before the first treatment on second day.
If it doesn't help, it can't harm.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

I'd be tempted to contact the supplier to ask if any others have these symproms. Sounds like it could be mycoplasma - it will respond to antibiotics. I think the usual one is Baytril. You could ring the vet and ask.

I'd get her checked out asap. The sneezing AND discharge sound worrying - as Flummery says could be mycoplasma so could just need some antibiotics.
