Orr, they put themselves to bed on their own tonight!! Aren't they clever!

Wow they are! Ours took about 3 days from first being out in the run. The first couple of nights we had to hoik 'em off the henhouse roof and put them in! Then they took themselves off to bed again. Then another night of attempted roof roosting but now they do it themselves all the time. Clever girls!
I've just posted the new girls in the pop hole now its dark, as I read somewhere they don't fight in the dark! See what happens in the morning!
The rangers are good flyers aren't they! I keep having to add extra wire here and there! Most of them spent the afternoon on top of the run I had the new ones in !!

They certainly are! It's not that I mind, it's the way they huddle together on top of their roof, muttering darkly to me 'I can see your house from here.' I keep expecting to find in the morning that they've broken in and raided the fridge!
Nah...they won't fight when they're roosting. It's the morning it'll kick off!!
They'll be fine...
Let them all out this morning.......one maran came out with the others and was ganged up on big time, they were also flying very high so decided to pen them up again. Let them all together at about 5 tonight and they went for eachother a bit but have settled down, 3 of the new ones put them selves away early and the other was just pecking around.
See what occurs tomorrow!
