My son has it all planned, we have 9 people here for Christmas and nine quail, which he is thinking for starters, with the goose for main course.
But no we won't be eating them. I'm going to wait till the are about 4 weeks old so we can determine their sex, then we will keep a pair or a trio and sell the rest. Thats the plan, may change wheh they get older.
The incubator is now full again with duck eggs this time, so fingers crossed in 4 weeks time we will have 5 baby ducks. Also one of the Bantams is sat on 12 Bantam eggs, due to hatch in 2 weeks time.
