The funniest sight!

One of our chickens (the friendly one that loves a cuddle, called daphne) attacked the cat!

I had finished cleaning them out (with their help obviously) and was bringing all the stuff out of the run, when one of the cats sauntered in... Daphne flew at her all feathers ruffled and chased her all round the cat coulnd't get away as I had closed the door to stop the others getting out! I thnk she got a peck in too. The cat was so surprised she actually scaled the fence with next door's massive dog in the garden! A fence normally avoided.
I guess she thought the dog was a safer bet!

I nearly wet myself laughing - why oh why didn't I have my video camera handy?!

I wish you'd hade your video camera with you too I know I shouldn't, but I encourage my cat to go in with the chickens just to watch her trying to keep out of their way

my cat actually rounds up the chickens, she hates it when they go out the bottom of the garden and runs round chasing them back in ... tis funny when shes asleep though and they all start playing with her tail
