    No, it's not to warn you off, she's saying "I've just laid my egg, do you want to see my egg? My egg's in the nest! Did you know my egg's in the nest? Bet she can't lay an egg like me! Oy, he's taken my egg!!!!"

    My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

      Hi crundy,its great having the girls isnt it?I like your blue eglu ,very nice,i have a pink one and three bantam hens in mine although they trot round the garden during the day,they put themselves to bed at night and lay their eggs in there.

        Thats great news. I bought my first 3 hens about a year ago. On the first night they had to be put into the coop but after that they go ino the coop like clockwork on sunset. They are great fun to watch.
