    I've opted for the easy option....if any of Marigolds eggs hatch,I've told a few teachers they can bring the children to the lottie!
    Hope it goes well Janeyo...one of the mums took a chook in last year...don't think there were any problems with it.

        Hi Janeyo - Having replied to you yesterday, I decided to take my latest batch of hatchlings into school this morning. A big success, with mother hen being very calm and quiet and all the chicks just fine. I held the hen and let the children stroke (but not pick up) the chicks in the carrier. Of course, mother hen managed to poo on a desk, my leg and the floor but the teachers didn't seem to mind!! Good luck with your visit.
