Well, I was disgusted at their behaviour. I let the four 'quarantined' Chooks back in with the rest this afternoon. They were just separated (by mesh) as I had to throw their eggs away for four weeks after their jabs.
Anyway, Nosey Rosie led the other three back into the main run, and all was well. Whilst I filled up a feed hopper I heard a noise, turned round, and Rosie and Ginger were 'at it' like two Cockerels - neck feathers all fluffed out, feet forward, jumping at each other and pecking . I separated them (with one foot!) and they were fine for a while, but they started again later when I was out of the run. I guess they'll settle down again, but it was a surprise to see - they looked quite serious !
I sat and watched them for a while, and noticed that both Rosie and Ginger have spurs - not one of the others has!
