Date marking eggs

I use a carpenters pencil, as it's the only one my kid's don't pinch due to it's unusal shape.
And i'm like the rest of you, I use the earliest dated eggs and move the next lot into their place.
I had struggled until 2 days ago to find places for them all, then hubby made a birthday for a friend and that was 12 eggs gone
But we never run out completely!

We get 7 eggs a day from our girls, and today I've brought into work:
12 chicken eggs
6 duck eggs
2 mixed boxes (3 duck and 3 chicken eggs)

And I've got 'orders' for another 12 on Friday!!
