Hi Lyn, nice to see you again If your Bluebelle is only 18 weeks, she's only just starting to lay so her egg-making-machine might not be up and working properly yet. I wouldn't worry too much just yet, just make sure she's got access to plenty of grit and layers pellets, not too many treats. Good luck and let us know how she gets on
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

I'd second what Maureen has said. Just give her system time to settle into the laying job!

Ours will only eat their grit if it's mixed in with something wet.We either make up some mash in the mornings & add it to that or if giving them a wettish treat(strawberries/sweetcorn etc)then coat that with some.
when we switched to pellets for the Spring/Summer we'dtried adding it dry & they just picked out the pellets & left the grit, hence we had a couple of weeks of really thin shells.(we use layers mash in the winter to give them a warm start to the day...they don't seem to be so keen on wet/warm pellets).
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
