Snadger's a Daddy again That's great news.
By the way, I didn't know about leaving the chicks in the incubator for 24 hours after hatching when I did mine, I just left them there till they'd dried out then they went straight into the brooder and had a drink of water within about 2 hours (oh yes, and they pooed as well)My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest thereComment

i also took mine out of the incubator after a few hours, mostly cos pingu was leaping around like a mad woman and jumping on the others heads

Still only one hatched but according to this site..ITS A GIRL!!!!!
Shame about the other five.........but I'll give them a couple of days!
Pleased she's hatched but poor girls going to be a bit lonely if no others appear!
*She'll be spoilt rotten to make up for it though*

Excellent news that you've got a girlie....I shall keep my fingers crossed for you that she gets a few sisters before the day is over!!!...Still plenty of time...isn't it 2 days after due date that they could still hatch?
