That's a beautiful chick, Snadger. I bought a couple of 7 week old growers a couple of weeks ago, and some more on Monday, they're cute, but nothing's as lovely as a newly hatched chick.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

well snadge, if no more hatch, thats gonna be one very tame little chicky cos you'll have to give her extra attention, which from my experience of pingu mostly means wearing an old tea towel over your shoulder cos she spent lots of time there and kitchen roll on the laptop keyboard cos she liked helping the mouse pointer

                ps she's a real cutie

We have some Rhode Island Red growers, Walldanzig (about 8 weeks old now) and although it's not a breed I'd initially considered I have to say I'm very pleased with them.

They've been incubating for about 11 days so not long to go. I would love to do more but dont have the room. I have a Wynadotte bantam and I would love to do more of these
