  • Odd poo

    Spotted this this morning. It's like a little puddle of milk with bits of poo in it. There also lloks to be like a translucent blob in it.

    Is it an egg, or the beginnings of one?

    I've looked up milky poo and it seems to indicate worms but there are no signs of worms in the poo and this seems to be the only poo like it.

    If it's just an odd one don't worry. If they haven't been wormed recently it won't harm them to do it anyway. Most hens do odd poos - some say 1 in 10 are odd.

      It's the first one I've noticed. I've never seen such variety of poo in an animal

      I think I might start a poo gallery

        There is a poo gallery on chicken website I use!
        That one is 'normal' or at least in the very wide range of normals!

                  {stands up with head bowed and hands behind his back mumbling}

                  My name's Dave and, and, I'm fascinated by chicken s**t

                  I think the last pic is the best match, but not quite as watery
