We've had a couple of whoppers from our girls - bet it's a double yolker!
Yes! We've had a couple of DYers! My little boy said he thinks there will be 3 in it!

Interesting to see everyone elses eggs are different sizes. Does this settle as they get older and more consistently large or are they always a bit hit and miss. I agree with you little boy,y money is on that big 'un being a tripler. Let us know!

Yes, when they first come into lay, the eggs are small, but occaisionally one will lay a huge double yolker! As they lay more and more, things usually even themselves out. Will keep you posted on the big 'un!!

We've got too many chooks to get a 'skelter, but they look great.
I've got 2 white china trays like the grey cardboard egg trays.
Our huuuge DY's come from the ladies who are...getting on a bit. They save themselves up a bit (no egg from them for a few days and then a whopper!) And having laid 100's of eggs a year for several years, that's fine by me!
