I crossed a feather footed Salmon Faverolle cockerel with a Light Sussex or Silver Grey Dorking hen?
Would the offspring have feathery feet or not? Would it be fifty/fifty?

They should make good meat and egg birds methinks!

I'm looking for an excuse to keep one of my Faverolle cockerels because they are big docile birds!

Well I for one would be VERY interested in the outcome!!!!!()..actually I would - cos I've always been interested in genetics.
We used to breed pedigree bunnies , and hamsters for about 15 years- and the colour outcome etc was always interesting.
Go for it Snadge- it's really lovely having a cockerel (...even 2!!!!)

Until we had too many to name, all livestock were named, but in some cases the name reflected their probable eventual fate. The first male pig was called Pork Chop. The turkey was CD (short for Christmas Dinner) etc.
Ity worked well until we were given a jersey bull calf (which got the rubber ring treatment promptly). We couldn't call him Steak, so we named him Keats, but he got too tame to eat........
By 10 months of age he was used to give small children rides around the paddock. Soon after that we sold the farm, complete with livestock, to a family with lots of children. Last I heard, Keats was still around....

I call her Dork (as in Dorking!) at the mo.......very boring I know, but quite apt!
