  • Chicken Run

I've really got the grow your own bug and now want to get a few chickens

I have an area next to the veggie patch that is approx 18 x 20 foot, would this be big enough for a hen house and 4 chickens ??

I can also wire of the veggie area and let them in there when nothing is growing.

As long as they get a bit of sunlight and shade each day!

Unfortunately at my local allotment site chooks are consigned to areas which are useless for crops and are devoid of sunlight. Then the chookholders wonder why they get NO eggs!

I KNOW your proposed area isn't sun les though!
