I've looked at these before but wondered if they would affect the chooks. Your link explained that the frequency wouldn't so perhaps it's worth a go. My BIL who has his own pest control business tells me I can try all I like, human hair, male urine etc but the fox will still come if he is hungry enough. I still try anything I hear about though so hope your repeller works.

Sorry Maureen, tried the ultasonoc deterrens for everything else and they didn't work.

I can tell you for sure human hair, urine - of any kind - doesn't work.

Humans standing in front of them, waiving their arms up and down, doesn't work.

Broad day light is not a deterrent - they are in there in front of you if that is what they want to do.

Fox proof fences are the only thing that works.

Sorry . It's not the news you want.

I have an old crossbreed dog and he works, I have started letting the dogs up next to the chook house in the mornings and low behold 5.30am wednesday morning Mr fox pops his head through the hebe, well old Rusky was off after the fox. After running over a mile I eventually caught up with him, looking extremely pleased with himself and no sign of Mr Fox. Needless to say he spent the rest of the day in bed resting not bad for 11years old and we haven't seen signs of any foxes since.
