unfortunately unless you know anyone with an incubator theres not much you can do.
you can try keeping them warm if theres a chance you can get one tomorrow? in a boiler cupboard or something ... but the problem is, with no thermostat they won't incubate, though you may be able to keep em going till tomorrow
otherwise have you tried fiddling with everything in case it's a loose wire or something?

Do as Lynda says, try and keep them as warm as possible, then tomorrow get to a reptile or aquarium shop and see if they can help you with a replacement thermostat - that's unless someone else on here can lend you one for the next couple of weeks. I'm too far away from you to be of any help, but I think one of my friends has some eggs due to hatch today so there'd be an empty one in Staffs on Sunday or Monday, but that's a bit too late.
What sort of incubator do you have?My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Bit of a long shot but you could try putting your inccy on a radiator shelf or lash something up over a radiator? If your radiators are thermostaically controlled you would need to play with the settings and a thermometer to get it right!

I'm just interested in chicken keeping - I don't keep them, so don't know how useful these links will be.

Those links look really useful - though the cost of hiring an incubator seems a bit steep to me, at that price I'd go and buy one

I have the eggs under an electric hen which i was going to use when they hatch as an interim. I spoke to Karen at merrydale and she has been fantastic help. there roughly at 35-36c
Im looking on line now for a replacement. The 2 original pekins have been rehomed our vet decided totake them home. were monitoring the POL.
The new one wont arrive till weds, as its bank holiday so if we have 1/18 that will be amazing.
Otherwise we are really thinking of giving up chickens.
