lol! Bokky, our Light Sussex Cross seems to love rolling in the soil/sand & poo so looks that colour anyway!

Ought to give her a bath but she hates to be picked up! It's not fun chasing chicken round garden!

Jade is the shyest of them all and didn't like comeing out of the stables but star was out there as soon as we bought them home yesterday, then silver came out to follow as silver and star have been together all there lives, fiesty came out after being atacked by red (a ex-bat) and decided that she liked the sun, but jade didn't come out for a couple of hours, but since then she has stuck with feisty as they have been together for the last couple of months, Alice (our ex-prettyest chook is eggstreemly jelous and keeps attaking jade, red attakes her as well as alice is her best mate - I think that they are some how rellated as they look so alike) but they have settled in surrprisingly fast.

If I'd found this a bit sooner I might have suggested 'Turtle' because she has similar colouring to a turtle dove (but paler).
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

They are so lovely I'm turning green to match Jade. Might be mould in my case though.

lol, Feisty and jade are being bullied by most of the ex-bats where as stars decided its safer tucked in a corner behind a trailer

Unfortunately the trailer is also where the laydees spend the afternoon rolling in their dust pool under it. Banties haven't laid - I was looking forward to a lttle egg - maybe tomorrow

She's definitely been named now, she's been feisty for a day or so now.

CB had to put the girls to bed tonight as I was cooking chinese. After 15 minutes or so sent His Lordship out to help her as the new ones don't know the routine yet and I could see CB running around flapping - literally.........

Five minutes later I get dragged out to help by OH doing his nut (he's not very patient). Star and Silver were evading via the dust pool with a little help from Alice. A broom helped trap them in a stable and they were put to bed just a couple of minutes later - yep a womans touch .

You could copy and paste this onto a piece of cardboard for your OH to use next time!!!!......

Now I'm either really confused or very much decided!!!
Dandelion & Marigold were both bought as Suffolk Pied...for a while now, because of their obvious differences,I've thought Marigold may be a Magpie. Now,looking at your pics,Dandelion is identical to Silver!
I wonder if different/same breeds have different regional names?
