Jade isn't doing to well she hasn't layed yet and every time she settles down somone comesand has a go at her. This afternoon we iscolated all the newbies frowm the ex-bats and she still didn't lay anything' fiestys has been looking after her and laying down next to her to keep her warm and trying to keep the others a safe distance away from her but she isn't doing very well, she doesn't look very egg-bound though.

Is she old enough? If she's one of the POLs she maybe needs a little time to settle down.

She's a year old but I think she has laid, we had a little egg last night to glaze pastry on a chicken pie and it was fertilised (they were both with a Pekin cockerel) she is looking fine I'm not worried.

Jane the tyre is one of Denzel's that he was delivered on before we changed them so would be too small for a Disco. We have 5 Disco 2 tyres that have very little tread but just legal on alloys that His Lordship will sell as a set only as really they would only go for the alloys.

Di - I reckon Pied would be Magpie and just a deviation of name as Suffold Pied sounds posher

Cheers Hayley, that's what I've got already, part worn D2's on alloys. Only need 2, but just thought I'd ask.

How did your Landys get their names? I've always named mine, so that's sommat else we've got in common

                Well.......

Vinnie is after Jones as he's well hard he's a V8 90 truck cab trialler with roll cage, Salisbury axles, 4-pin diffs, rock sliders etc etc

Naomi is a black 300tdi with roll cage we had her from new and I named her after Campbell cause she's black and beautiful. Naomi is in semi-retirement but does do the Macmillan 4x4 challenge every year, generally with a celeb in tow

Ronnie is His Lordship's Rangie, so called cause it's a bit of a Ronnie Biggs style of car.

Denzel is my 'new' baby born a couple of days before Christmas 2007, black with a Roman nose (power bump on bonnet) named as in Washington. The guys from the factory at Land Rover also gave me his job sheet. His only additions have been side rock sliders.

The shed is a shed, an old Rangie not working, given to us to 'cut and shut' for trialling but economic crisis etc, it's just rotting in a corner at the moment.

Silver laid her first egg today!!!!!!!!!! It was small, had a very very thin shell that you could see through and there was a stringy bit on the top of it.

Silver is so sweet she's really made friends with Dropsy (originally drop-wing cause that's what she came with) and because Dropsy has really gotten attached to me the two follow me everywhere giving me odd looks.
