Cider vinegar is great for keeping the chuks gut parasite free apparently, I put 10ml to 1.5 ltr of water every other day. Mine also have a tonic every other day to keep them perky, all organic. Have been told normal cider vinegar is just fine and cheaper unless you buy organic. You can get a pear cider vinegar and I dont think thats as good for chuks, thats why they stress 'apple'. Not Magners either :0)

If it is cider (or cider vinegar), it is made from apples. (just me being a bit pedantic about terminology)Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Be as pedantic as you wish Hilary - I entrely agree. The current advert for Pear Cider sets me teeth on edge. I wonder if they associate Perry with the old Babycham adverts and think it sounds too woosie for blokes?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
