we have had our ex batts eight days now and they are settling in fairly well i.e eating, drinking, laying etc. however I have noticed today that they are fighting. Is this normal and should I be breaking it up or just leaving them to it?

The will fight to establish a pecking order - who's Boss Hen. As long as blood isn't drawn it's best to let them get on with it - but it's hard to watch.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I agree, I posted with the same problem a few weeks ago. It is hard to watch but it will sort itself out in the end.
