we've got a very low (more like a bush) plum tree which is laden with immature fruit.....this afternoon the girls were leaping up into it and picking the fruit which is obviously no where near ripe , will it do them any harm they were stealing it from on anothers beaks so it must be very desirable to chooks

Mine have decided they like pale pink blackcurrants - in spite of them being behind some thick plastic netting! (The currants, not the chooks!)Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
