42? and the rest! I counted 61 in total!

Congrats on the Brahma! So lovely! Went to the poultry place today and I love seeing the rare breeds - I think the Columbian Brahmas look great with their 'bloomers'!!! Was also making a list of birds I would like!! Lemon Cuckoo Pekin.......Buff Plymouth Rock......Araucana......Cream Legbar....... They don't sell chicks but have hatching eggs!! Mustn't get tempted!

Well it will be a lot of chicks if they hatch.... getting nervous at the moment only 3 Brahmas and 2 marans hatched and nothing pipped, I keep telling myself they weren't due 'til tonight anyway but am worrying...alot. Not going to peek every 10 mins is getting harder all the time!

I tried to put latest Maran in with the others but the rotten sods keep pecking his toes! He tried sitting on them(his toes) and No.1 Brahma just head butted and then kickboxed (honestly) newbie until he got up and they dived in again! So he's back in the 'bator until he gets stronger....
