No idea what they are. They were called mixed colour Japanese bantams, but they look very similar, with one paler on the chest than the other. No I'm afraid that the 4 unhatched eggs were under the broody and these were incubator hatched on day 19/20. The hen has taken very little notice of the chicks since we put them under her last night, but still rolls the eggs carefully under her when she returns to the nest. They were all placed at the same time, the 2 pale ones are also Japanese from the same batch and the others are light Sussex, but NONE have hatched. I hope we have at least one girl. Also want the "Mum" to take more interest in the babies. She will need to protect them, they are SO tiny.
