Ive turned the autoturn off, filled up with water and am now preparing for delivery.

18 pekin eggs are in the incubator!!!!!! D day is provisionally fathers day

please cross fingers as our first attempt the incubator packed up on day 7!

Im going to put them at the side of my bed so I can observe

I find hatching eggs so exciting( maybe I should get out more!) I bought a dozen assorted bantam eggs and have eleven small banties and have just put thirteen Indian Game eggs in, one cockerell of which I shall keep and put with two Light Sussex pullets from a previous hatching. I have great hopes of these!!
I hope all goes well with your hatch and may they all be pullets!

Well I'm just jealous. I'm months away from being in a position to hatch eggs and it seems like every day someone is posting piccies of cute ickle chicks. Don't know about the hens going broody, but I certainly am!
