having now worked out my schedule to allow for a minimum of 2 visits to my allotment to look after my chickens, I have made the decision to rescue 4 ex battery chickens.
I have made a 5mx5m space available, edged with a 1050 fence, within a further 1500 fence around this. My arc is being delivered later this week.
I plumped for an integrated arc and run (raised), which initialled will allow 4-6 hens with a view that a further run will be made so they have more space and whil i'm there of an evening they will have at east half of the 5m plot to wander around.
If anyone can offer any further advice I would really appreciate it
