will my babies be ok????

Oh my poor babies, I have been such an idiot, I thought the chicks (14 weeks old) had taken themselves to bed cos I couldnt see them out the window, but actually they were sat on top of the house getting soaking wet!!!!!
Just put them to bed, but worried they may be cold! what do I do or are they ok?

They should be fine - mine love the rain, and tonight I soaked them with the hosepipe to cool them down. After a good preen they have taken themselves to bed.

Yes - don't worry. It's summer time, and warm. They will be fine!

Can't speak for youngsters but my ex-batts will stand in the rain until soaked thru then give a big shake which nearly knocks them off their feet. They often go to bed wet. It's so hot at night at the moment I'm sure they are fine.

thanks guys, they are fine, they looked so skinny and soaked through! will wrap them in a towel and dry if it happens in the winter! wallies, fancy panicking me by sitting on the roof of their house!!!! I'd not have worried too much, but they are usually cowering under the nest box or something, not sat out in it!!!
