My little daughter(8) talked me into bringing 4 little R I R x light sussex chicks back with us from the Beds show today - they are now convinced she is their mother! If she leaves them - they chirp - Ha! She is in for a long night........! Immy says it is the best day of her life - god I hope they don't die !! Got heat lamp on them and they have an amazing appetite! I have told her if any are boys they get roasted - she was pretty cool about that!! I used to raise chicks(silkies) as a teenager, its taking me back! Feeling nostalgic..
