  • What a whopper!

    Not

Not sure what happened here, but they've been a bit dodgy with their laying for the past few days. The other day we got none at all, then three, then two today and this little thing. We usually get four a day, like clockwork.

I've checked and they've not got any problems, there's no mites or lice, they're eating their layers pellets. All seems normal. Saying that we've only had them three months-ish.

Could they be starting to moult? Only there's no feathers about. They're ISAs if that helps anyone

There's something about you chicken lovers that makes you use the most ambiguous topic titles!

Cute egg, boil it, chop it in half and serve it with some caviar on 2 tiny slices of melba toast. The smallest serving of canapes ever!

A lot of mine are off lay and a couple are producing smaller eggs for some reason, possibly the heat
