LOL nope he's a real Muscovy Drake - not pretty! Added to this he came to us in a somewhat bedraggled state having been bullied by some of his mates, and I had to clip his wing to stop him flying 'til he's settled, he hasn't worked out what the pond is for and I'm patiently waiting for him to moult to replace his ragged feathers with shiny new plumes. Wonderful pictures - I tried to photograph some ducklings recently and got nothing but furry blurs... way too quick for me! Love the close-up one with the drip on the end of his beak.
