  • The Three Musketeers!!!!!!

    Aramos, Porthos and Dar-tuther-one!

These are all that remain of my six lads I hatched and I intend keeping them as long as I can.

The Faverolle used to be the softest until he got a bit of size about him. Then he started mastering the Light Sussex. Now the 'Snadge' is starting to take over as King of the roost over both of them.(I spotted him crowing today for the first time!) They all have distinctive 'crows' and I can tell which one is making the noise as soon as I open the allotment gates 100 yards away!
No major squabbles though just abit of 'handbags at dawn' from what I've seen!

I like Cocks more than the hens(maybe i'm a bit weird) I like the pompous nature of them they are like a male chauvanist from the 80's. The way they strut around and occasionaly get into a punch up with another cock and then think every Hen wants them brilliant.

Lovely cocks, Snadge! I'm getting a Light Sussex (LF) cock today (so far I've only had the bantam version) to put with my LF cross breeds to hopefully produce some eaters next year. Your boy looks gorgeous. Love the names too!
