Closed Eye

One of my ex-batts has her left eye more or less permanently closed, she is eating and 'talking' as normal and doesnt seem to be in any pain, there is no discharge or swelling and she looks well in herself. But this one eye seems to be closed all the time whatever she's doing, the only thing i have to watch is sometimes i startle her if i put my hand out on her closed side. It wasnt like this until a couple of days ago. Any ideas anyone??

Could she have caught it on something? Small twig, has she been pecked by one of your other ladies? You know yourself if you scratch your eye, you tend to keep it closed, if you can catch her, why not try and rinse it with a drop of lukewarm water for her...it might help, good luck with her and i hope its not something nasty.
