I have some mashed spud left from last night and I know the hens love that, but it is a bit mushed with baked beans and I wondered if they were okay to feed?

Cheers Snadger. I was sure we used to feed them years ago but somehow got it in my head they shouldn't have them
Off for a giggle while they fight over mashed spud and beans now.

I think with BBs it's the salt content but as leftovers it's not really significant enough to matter.......Hayley B

Hayley exactley what i was going to say - a few as leftovers is fine but they are quite high in salt otherwise - the few on your spud though i'm sure they will enjoy!Comment
