We have loads of cocks to deal with this year - more than ever before. In the bantam horde mostly cocks, just a few hens. First few lots of LF Welsummers only cocks hatched. But the final lot is all hens!

I will keep my "boy" for a bit longer then! He may yet turn out to be a "she"!! (a very agressive she though!!)
P.S. The tails betwen the dainty definite pullet and "it" are exactly the same.

She looks like the bird pictured on this link

        http://www.poultrysupplies.co.uk/Cor...ight%20pdf.pdf

Cornish Meadow Light She is a Light Sussex hybrid - in fact she is very similar to one of my reds, but not in colour - she can be feisty e a bit when she wants to be

hmmm......looks like a prettier version of our "Bokky" (Lt Sussex Cross hen)
Bokky has a very big comb and wattles and is most definately a hen!

Hope he/she turns out to be what you want!

(lifted from a website appologies to owner New Page Title)

could be a girl.... if its a boy may not have more than bumps for spurs until much later.....

if its a girl its going to start laying really soon by that colouring.... so if no eggs in the next few weeks its probably a boy

There is a 'top hen' as well, and some bantams are so bolshie they can be boss over much bigger birds.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
