I make chocolate brownies with beetroot in them and a malt loaf type bread with courgettes - every one eats them totally unsuspecting and I have 1 friend who loves both but has never eaten a vegetable in her life!!!
I love fruit curds and jams - really need to get around to making some soon or I will have none this year - very unlike me - I think its all the wedding preps for my brother has put me well out of routine, I usually make them all in the 6 weeks hols cos I get the kids involved! fancy the rhubarb one though - shame i've got no rhubarb growing here it died.

It wouldn't be all those sales and auctions you've been going to of course - would it??!!!
well yes but those form part of the "everyday" business - we always do them. what I don't always do is spend 8 hours trawling wedding dress shops and watching someone try on 3800 wedding dresses - and we still haven't got one!!!
Plus we have visited hotels and venues all over the county and in amongst all that muggins is making the wedding cake so there are around 250 icing sugar flowers to make.
If I keep repeating it out loud do you think I will start to beleive it - I can organise a wedding in 3 weeks - I can I can I can (oh and translate it into a foreign language all at the same time!!!)
Yeps Hilly will put the recipie on in a little while, its really really simple and quick and VERY VERY YUMMY
