  • Whoo-hoo! A third egg!

After having 3 hens and cockerel for 4 weeks (yesterday), got my third egg this morning and the first one in 3 weeks. Maybe they're settled in at last.

Now, taking into account the cost of the hen house, enclosure, food, bedding, water and food bowls and other bits and pieces, these eggs have cost me £80 each!

If only they weren't so lovely tasting! lol

Oh, and thank heavens for this place. Where else could I go celebrating the fact that a chicken laid an egg and not be thought weird?!
