Nicos, not yet eaten the egg... it got forgotten in the day's events... Might have to be a small omlete tomorrow for dinner!
Not put off chickens, infact bought two more for company for the one remaining one. Certainly learnt my lesson though...
Thinking of using my current shed to put them down the end of the garden with a large enclosed run attached now, and only letting them out at weekends when I'm around or in the summer evenings... Mmmm summer...
Maybe letting them roam as freely as they wanted wasn't such a good idea after all. My house in Edmonton not quite such the River Cottage I thought it was!
