    I'm off to get more girls!

    Poor TOH is feeling hen pecked!

    I promised Hazel and Pip that we would get more hens after our holiday and we are off this morning to look at some possible additions!

    Hoping for a Copper Splash Maran, an araucana cross and I'm not entirely sure what else the gent has as the phone line last night was a little dodgy but we are going to his place at lunchtime.

              We're Home!

              Well we actually got back at three - I hate the A21!

              Four new girlies!

              A Cuckoo Maran, a very pretty Wyandotte, a Copper Splash Maran and a 'bitsa' which has a fair element of sussex (mum) and a dubious amount of black araucana - interestingly she has whiteish ear lobes, so heaven only knows what sort of egg she will lay!

              Photos to follow.... mad rumage for batteries......

                      Absoultely! He didn't want to part with her as he has a wyandotte cockrel which I didn't want... but two coo-ing kids twisted his arm nicely!

                        Just been searching splash marans to show TOH and came across a silver dorking - dead ringer for Chicken Korma..... here's hopeing.......
