I had a little accident the other day and bought 3 light sussex to go with my 3 cochins.

3 black & 3 white

We're now expecting eggs in the next 4 weeks

It's been soooooo long since we had a 'homemade' egg! I can't wait!

That's good news Matthew. I have 8 already with room for another 4, going to build another run and hen house for them. Hopefully getting them around October time

They are staying in my garden again with the cochnis. I am not putting any down the lottie again this year at least.

I might get some cheap hatching eggs for hens on the allotment next year. Just to see what happens.
