just thought I'd show you all my rugby team now theyre a bit bigger.
1.Bluemoon 2.HillyToo (H2) 3.Rowan-cockeral 4.Seagull having 40 winks 5.L to R Bluemoon, Rand (maran cockeral) Moonshine, Moonshadow(front) with Rowan just behind, Russet (hybrid cockeral) H2
BluM, Mshad and Mshine are the three ebay specials, they are now bigger than the hybrids, and are puffballs, but still have a line of feather down thw front of their legs, not proper feathery legs so from what went into the inci would now guess at Orps, but think something else has crept into the sellers breeding to give that feather on the legs? dont care one little bit!!! Moonshadow sits on my shoulder

1.This is Rowan, Russet, H2 and Seagull's mum Hilly. Mum was an ex-bat. So called after Sir Edmund Hillary, cos she never walked where she could zoom, (fast as roadrunner) and always had to explore everywhere and climb everything.

2.And Dad, Tag (hauer, you know..the gorgeous blonde in the watch adverts), his dad was a Buff Orp, and grandad was a light Sussex. GOK what mum and gran were. Soft as owt.
Both RIP due to fox, hence shoving some of Hillys eggs, along with some ebay ones, in the inci for my very first hatch. Now known as the rugby team.

3.Kitty aka Mrs Hen..she was shut in a loosebox sitting on eggs the day the fox called so survived. But the builders stole her eggs.

Thanks Bramble. The moon bunch are such lovely colours I'm tempted to try to find a black cochin or Brahma (do they come in black?) cockeral to run with them. As I've got the space if I tidy up some more of the buildings. Oh dear, how complicated is DEFRA reg? Think I'll end up there before too long.
