  • My new chickens!

    Hi everyone, we have just gone out and bought 3 new blackrock chickens,they are lovely,we have named them.....
    Barnstonworth(ripping yarns)
    Lola
    Jaffa-C-Jessie(short for Jaffa Cake)

    They have just been introduced to Hope,Charity,Hanzel,Gretal,Flower,Worzel and Easter(a mixture of Warrens,Rhode island reds,light sussex,barred plymouth rock and lavander auracona)


    They are settleing in really well,i cannot beleive how docile and friendly they are

        congrats! Oh and pic's please( new and old girls ) I've got Black Rock eggs in the Incubator ... so Fingers crossed!

          I had some Black Rocks until they were killed. Pic 4 Chickens on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

              They were bloody good layers too! Right through winter and molting - an egg a day from each with the odd exception.
              All vehicles now running 100% biodiesel...
